Free forever · No account · No tracking

The web, minus the parts you never asked for.

Chatbots that stalk every page. Cookie walls. "Subscribe!" popups. Point at anything, click once — gone. HideIt remembers, so it stays gone.

Launching on all three stores this week. It's free — no catch.

← This demo is real. Click the highlighted clutter.

Three clicks. That's the whole manual.

1

Turn it on

Click the HideIt icon on any page. Until you do, HideIt can't see the page at all — that's the point.

2

Point at the clutter

Hover anything — a chatbot, banner, sidebar, autoplay video. A red outline shows exactly what you're about to remove.

3

Click. Gone.

Hide it for this visit or every visit. HideIt re-hides it automatically if the site tries to sneak it back.

Built stubborn, so websites can't out-stubborn you.

🔒

Private by default

HideIt reads nothing until you switch it on for that tab. No analytics, no accounts, no data ever leaves your browser.

💬

Kills chatbots properly

Chat widgets hide in iframes that eat your clicks. HideIt shields them and removes the whole widget — wrapper and all.

📌

Remembers your choices

Hide something once, it stays hidden on every visit. A watchdog re-hides elements that sites re-inject.

↩️

Nothing is permanent

Manage every hidden element per site. Un-hide one thing, or flip "show all" to see the page untouched.

📤

Export & import

Take your hide list to another machine with one file. Your rules are yours.

🎁

Free. Actually free.

No pro tier, no trial, no "unlock 3 more hides". We made it because we wanted it to exist.

Fair questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No paid tier, no ads, no data selling (there's no data to sell — see next question).

What does HideIt collect about me?

Nothing. Your hide rules are stored in your own browser's extension storage. There is no server, no account, and no telemetry. Read the whole privacy policy — it's refreshingly short.

Will it break websites?

HideIt only hides what you point at — it doesn't rewrite pages or block scripts. If hiding something breaks a layout, un-hide it from the popup in one click.

Is this an ad blocker?

No — it's a anything blocker. Ad blockers use community filter lists; HideIt hides exactly what annoys you: chat widgets, "download our app" bars, comment sections, trending sidebars…

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers; Firefox; and Safari. Store links land here the moment they're approved.

Your web. Your rules.
